Team Spraoi has been finally selected after an exhaustive elimination process that would put the X-Factor to shame. The final team selection for the relay race is

Commenting on her final team selection, Captain Ann O’Connell was quoted that she was delighted with the excellent mix of runners signed up to the team and that each would bring their own contributions to the race in terms of physical athleticism and financial fundraising capabilities.

The team will be raising money for research being undertaken by the Diabetes Ireland Research Alliance. The hard work starts now; the gruelling training schedule has already started.
